Sassy Mare Plus®  is formulated with a specific blend of herbs, minerals, vitamins and amino acids.

NEW: Now with Chamomile Flowers. Chamomile is a gentle herb, well-known for its calming properties and believed to reduce anxiety and promote a sense of calm.

Hormones in mares can lead to ‘stroppy’, unwilling behaviour, sometimes making a horse difficult to handle and resulting in a reduction in performance.

Sassy Mare Plus contains Chaste Tree Berry (also known as Agnus Castus), a plant that has been recognised for many years for its benefits in supporting correct hormone levels.

Raspberry Leaf is a multi-beneficial herb that helps to support and soothe your mare’s temperament. Our Sassy Mare Plus formula contains high quality raspberry used to help maintain a naturally healthy temperament, support muscles and maintain calm. Helps with her “moodiness” and to keep her comfortable.

Black Cohosh is traditionally used to promote balanced levels of hormones throughout your mare’s cycle and soothe the reproductive tract. Milk thistle is rich in antioxidants and supports a healthy liver, aids kidney and pancreatic health.

Contains no chemicals, fillers, binders or any known prohibited substances as defined by the FEI.

Instructions for use

1 scoop (30ml) = 18g

Customer Reviews

  1. As most people, I’m always a little sceptical about trying new gadgets or supplements to fix my horsey issues. But last summer my young mare was struggling a lot with her estrus, she was backwards, unhappy and constantly ‘peeing’, I felt like I had to do something to ease her discomfort and make life easier for the both of us.
I was recommended premier performance sassy mare plus and I have never looked back.

The difference in my mare was like night and day and I continued to feed it throughout the summer months. This year she’s suddenly come into an intense heat again with the same symptoms. I’m now waiting on my delivery of more sassy mare plus as there’s nothing else I trust right now to do the trick.

Such a fab product and I would recommend it to anyone struggling with their mares heat cycles.

  2. I just need to send you a review for my new feed room essential… “sassy mare plus” 💁🏼‍♀️

I absolutely adore my mares love of life and sassy nature… it’s one of the things that makes me adore her most BUT sometimes those hormones just take over a bit and the sass level just teeters over the edge… she’s never dangerous or nasty but she just becomes a little ball of tension at the slightest thing when hormones are high 😳

In winter… she bucks, she’s had every single thing imaginable checked… she’s a clean bill of health but the combination of more time inside and less time galloping 🙊 means she gets her sass on and the bucking begins… when she’s angry, when she’s excited, just whenever she feels like it really, and I’ve always found it funny to a point but when I very nearly got ejected in the dressage warm up earlier in the year it just wasn’t quite as funny 🙈

That’s when I started seeing posts about your product, which came highly recommended… so it went straight in my basket! And OH MY GOODNESS… since day three of adding it to her feeds, she hasn’t bucked ONCE.. not ONCE… she’s just a whole heap more zen 🧘‍♀️ in general and honestly I’m just blooming thrilled! So THANK YOU! You’ve made a very happy human and a very happy horse!

Mega thanks… Ali and Ella 🧡

  3. I was recommended to try this by another mare owner on the yard. My mare is sweet natured, but seemed to be almost permanently in season. She was also worried by other horses anywhere near her hind quarters. After 3 days on the supplement she’s settled and relaxed. I will be ordering more!
