Premier Calm is a high-specification complementary feed for horses, formulated to support calm behaviour, focus, and confidence—without sedation or compromise to performance. It combines a carefully selected blend of amino acids, herbs, and micronutrients that contribute to the nutritional support of mood, behaviour, and cognitive function.
This versatile formula is ideal for horses that may become anxious, distracted, or overly reactive in specific situations or as part of their general temperament. It can be used daily or ahead of known stressors and may be fed alongside Premier Calm Cookies® for additional support.
Why These Ingredients Work
L-Tyrosine
A precursor to dopamine, adrenaline, and noradrenaline neurotransmitters involved in focus, alertness, and emotional balance. Tyrosine supports the horse’s ability to stay attentive and responsive without becoming overstimulated.
L-Arginine
Supports nitric oxide production, which plays a role in learning, memory, and blood flow regulation. Arginine also contributes to immune function and nutrient delivery.
L-Cysteine
A sulphur-containing an amino acid that supports anti-oxidants that help mop up neutralise free radicals.
Vitamin C
An antioxidant that contributes to normal collagen formation and supports the nervous system. It also helps during periods of excitement or exertion.
Vitamin E
A fat-soluble antioxidant that helps mop up neutralise free radicals.
Vitamin D3
Supports calcium metabolism, muscle function, and overall wellbeing.
B-Complex Vitamins (B1, B2, B3, B5, B6)
These water-soluble vitamins contribute to energy metabolism, nerve function, and psychological balance.
Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate
A trace mineral involved in enzyme function, immune support, and the role of contains antioxidants to help “mop up neutralise free radicals.
Chia Seed & Flax Seed
Rich in omega-3 fatty acids and high-quality protein. These ingredients support skin, coat, hooves, and muscle condition, while also contributing to metabolic balance and digestive health.
Fenugreek & Peppermint Leaf Powder
Naturally palatable and traditionally used to support digestion and soothe the gut which can be sensitive during stress.
Sodium Chloride
Included to support electrolyte balance and palatability.

1 scoop (30ml) = 18g

Maintenance Rate:
Mix with feed. May also be syringed by mixing with a small amount of water. Do not pre-mix or leave in soaked feed overnight. Can be fed alongside Premier Calm Cookies® for additional support. Supportive effects may be observed within hours, although individual responses can vary.

International shipping is available to certain countries. However, due to issues related to Brexit and customs regulations, orders are placed at the customers own risk. If an order is rejected by customs and returned to us, the value of the order will be refunded, but not the shipping costs. Please be aware that international orders may incur additional fees and duties that are beyond our control and must be paid by the customer.

We strongly believe in our products and want you to be fully satisfied with the purchases you make from us. This is the reason for the Premier Performance CZ Ltd Customer Service Guarantee.
Premier Performance CZ Ltd can accept returns of products purchased directly (either online or over the phone) and in accordance with the restrictions below. Although we strive to minimize process times, refunds may take over one week to process once we receive all required information and/or product(s).
For all product returns, a copy of the invoice is required and should be enclosed to be considered for reimbursement.
Please note that we do not have the ability to track your return nor are we responsible for the amount of time it takes for the item to be returned.

We hope that you love your Premier Performance product but if you change your mind upon receipt of your order, please contact us by phone or email within 14 days of delivery to organise a refund. (Please quote your order number when contacting us)
You will be responsible for shipping any approved items back to us at your own cost via a track and trace method. All returns remain the purchasers property until signed for by us upon their return. Goods damaged in return transit, or not adequately packaged for transit, may not be accepted back by us or may not be fully refunded.
Returns must be received back within 14 days of the returns authorisation being granted for a refund to be issued and in all cases, refunds will be made ONLY to the original method of payment less the shipping costs. It may take up to 7 days for the refund credit to appear on your statement.
We are unable to accept returns that have been opened or used.
Free Bundle? If you received one of our fabulous free bundle packs, then you will also need to send that back. If you do not send that back (unopened) then the cost of the bundle (in most cases) will be deducted from your refund total. If you are exchanging your item then you may, of course, keep your freebies
